Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Dunlap, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have proven, hands-on automotive repair experience and be capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems. Applicants must be dependable, self-motivated, and have a solid work history with verifiable automotive mechanic experience. This position is for a qualified technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose issues, and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Requirements Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable, on-the-job automotive mechanic experience Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance Must provide professional references and verifiable work history Must own and maintain a complete set of mechanic tools necessary for daily job duties Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to perform repairs according to manufacturer and industry standards Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred ASE Certification preferred , but not required for experienced candidates Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues Perform maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and electrical systems Complete inspections and accurately document repair recommendations Use diagnostic equipment and repair information systems Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding vehicle concerns and repair needs Qualifications Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work Compensation & Benefits Starting pay of $20.00 per hour , with opportunities for advancement based on experience and performance Steady, year-round work Supportive team environment Potential for increases based on skill level, certifications, and productivity How to Apply Call Express Employment Professionals today for an immediate phone interview 931-837-5533 or apply directly in our office located at 490 North Spring Street, Sparta, TN 38583.
