Job Description
Job Overview Tour Entertainment Transportation is a growing transportation and logistics company serving the touring entertainment industry. We provide specialized trucking and support for concert tours, live events, and entertainment productions throughout the country. We are seeking a dependable Trailer Service Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of 53 foot trailers at our Gallatin facility. This position is primarily focused on trailer maintenance, but the employee will also assist with general yard and facility work when needed. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company in a unique industry, with plenty of room for advancement. We are looking to hire immediately. Pay and Schedule $18 to $22 per hour based on experience Paid weekly Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional additional hours may be needed depending on workload Responsibilities Inspect trailers when they arrive at our facility Replace and repair trailer airbags and suspension components Inspect, repair, and replace trailer tires Diagnose and repair trailer lights, wiring, and electrical connections Perform preventive maintenance and general trailer repairs Inspect brakes, doors, flooring, landing gear, and other trailer components Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Document completed repairs and report additional problems Assist with organizing and moving trailers around the yard Perform general yard work, facility work, and other company related labor as needed Qualifications Previous trailer, diesel, automotive, tire, or mechanical experience is preferred Basic knowledge of trailer air and electrical systems is preferred Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Able to perform physical labor, lift heavy equipment, and work outdoors in different weather conditions Strong attention to safety and quality We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can help keep our trailers safe, dependable, and ready for the road.
