Responsibilities for this Position Stryker Combat Vehicle Mechanic- Ft. Campbell Job Description Combat Vehicle Mechanic (SCA) At General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) we put our Customers at the center of everything we do. We are looking for passionate individuals to help us deliver innovative, unique solutions to our Customers in support of the NBCRV. The selected candidate will be a member of the GDLS Stryker team and will be part of the 63rd Chem BDE, Ft. Campbell, KY.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct quality checks of vehicles in accordance with De-processing check sheets and Joint Technical Inspection (TI) form. Perform maintenance on Stryker platform and associated CBRNE equipment IAW latest published TM. Assist soldiers regarding problems within technical areas as required. Perform De-processing that encompasses vehicle familiarization: safe operations, to include PMCS (Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services), operation of each crew station, and knowledge of organizational maintenance procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by FSR or unit leadership. Provide assistance to USG personnel as directed. Actively engaged in promoting a workplace free from environmental health and safety related hazards including the training and ensuring proper use of personnel protective equipment as deemed appropriate.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience performing maintenance on tactical/combat vehicles, with Stryker heavy vehicle experience preferred (91B, 91S, 63S, 63W or 63B

desirable. Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable in lieu of military vehicle experience. Able to work in confined space within vehicle interior. Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities as well as field environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and organize/prioritize multiple tasks. Must be able to foster and enhance teaming environment. Working knowledge with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access preferred. Proven ability to perform multiple tasks within multiple work stations. Demonstrated good housekeeping skills and ability to convey such practices to team members. Ability to work extensive extended hours in a fast paced, challenging, high pressure environment. Must be able to gain and maintain access to Fort Bills, Texas and other military bases assigned to or where work is to be performed. Must meet and maintain ASR guidelines for driver's station entry as described in Standard Practice 2-644 . Ability to maintain US Passport required, LOA, and international Drivers Permit. Ability to be issued and maintain a Class B CDL. Preference given to candidates with current Class B CDL. Ability to be issued and maintain company AMEX card required. Ability to deploy where and when needed to support fielding missions CONUS and OCONUS required. Ability to obtain and maintain T1 Investigation for Common Access Card. Must be a U.S. person .
Position Hourly Rate:
$31.54
Position Incentive:
Hired applicant may be eligible to receive an annual bonus.

Employees may be eligible for the SCA Health & Welfare Benefit hourly rate, which will vary, based on the employees choice of benefit elections. The SCA Health & Welfare Benefit hourly rate ranges from $0.00 to $5.09. Employees are also eligible to receive 6.66 hours of vacation per month, 56 hours of sick time per year and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
