SMALL ENGINE / HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC WANTED

Asphalt Paving Company - Hiring Experienced Mechanic We are looking for an experienced, dependable Small Engine / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our asphalt paving company. We need someone who is comfortable performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on asphalt and construction equipment.

Equipment includes:

Dump Trucks LeeBoy Pavers HAMM Rollers CAT Rollers John Deere Skid Steers Other asphalt and construction equipment Responsibilities include: Preventative maintenance and routine servicing Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues Hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting Engine and drivetrain repairs Welding/fabrication is a plus Keeping equipment running safely and efficiently Responding to equipment breakdowns and making necessary repairs Maintaining service and repair records What we're looking for: Previous experience working on heavy equipment, construction equipment, or asphalt equipment Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently Reliable and dependable Must have your own basic tools CDL is a plus, but not required
