Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive exceptional vehicle care and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical proficiency and technical skills will be vital in diagnosing complex issues, interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, and executing repairs with precision. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, transmission, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Perform repairs and maintenance on diverse vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and diesel engines. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical problems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with attention to detail. Execute wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure safety and optimal handling. Repair or replace vehicle transmission systems, powertrains, and other mechanical components following manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. ASE's A1-A8 Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools and software. Solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical, transmission, powertrain, suspension, and diesel engines. Experience interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. Familiarity with ADAS technology and calibration procedures is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; ongoing training or certifications in automotive electrical systems or specific vehicle brands: General Motors and or CDJR Certified. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
