Below is a short summary of job duties: Set up and monitor machines, perform any adjustments needed to produce a quality part. Calculate machine speed and feed ratios and the size and position of cuts. Set up future jobs while machines are operating. Clean machines, tooling, or parts, using solvents or solutions and rags. Use various quality gauges, scales, micrometers, calipers and other quality measuring equipment. Read and set up to blueprint standards. Adhere to all safety standards.
