Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. This role involves diagnosing complex vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Experience with dealership settings, GM vehicles, and advanced systems such as ADAS is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical expertise, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and a thorough understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, and suspension components. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignments. Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately and efficiently. Repair or replace powertrain components, diesel engines, and other mechanical parts using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Conduct advanced repairs including ADAS calibration, vehicle electrical system troubleshooting, and auto body repairs when necessary. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and maintaining professional communication with clients. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Dealership experience preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, ADAS technology, and welding skills is advantageous. Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic software effectively. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and auto body repair tools. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes and models. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Certification or training in automotive repair is preferred but not required.
