Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance solutions. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and service diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics to meet industry specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools efficiently for repairs and modifications. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise repairs aligned with manufacturer standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Skilled in automotive diagnostics with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently. Familiarity with automotive estimating software and auto estimating procedures is a plus. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively. Valid certification or licensing in automotive repair or diesel mechanics is preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.
