Overview Join Legend Conversion as an Automotive AC Technician, where your expertise will keep vehicles cool and comfortable while ensuring peak performance of essential automotive systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including light-duty and heavy-duty models, utilizing your mechanical skills and diagnostic abilities to deliver top-tier service. As an Automotive AC Tech, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems, along with a broad range of mechanical repairs that keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly. We prioritize safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in everything we do. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive air conditioning systems, including refrigerant recharge, compressor replacement, and leak detection Perform comprehensive mechanical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical systems Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections Repair mechanical systems including powertrain components, drive shafts, axles, and heavy equipment mechanics when necessary Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to perform repairs adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Read and interpret automotive schematics for complex repairs involving ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic modules Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or similar environments Strong background in automotive electrical systems, mechanical repair, and diagnostics using advanced tools and software Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension system repair, and brake service Familiarity with automotive estimating procedures and working with GM vehicles or similar makes preferred Knowledge of automotive maintenance practices including oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering quality repairs promptly Join us to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in automotive care!
