Job Description

The Chassis Mechanic will be an integral part of the maintenance team. This Chassis Mechanic will perform repairs such as brake repairs, tire replacements, and general chassis maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment were safe and ready for operation. The Chassis Mechanic will also assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, while supporting heavy equipment mechanics with maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

Schedule:
M-F, 7:00am - 4:00pm, with overtime as needed.
Key Job Duties:
Asses, document, and fix chassis. Diagnostic work using computerized or manual testing equipment Perform routine checks to prevent equipment failures Adjust and replace faulty parts to ensure equipment functionality and safety Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards Maintain daily records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections Reports on priorities and work plan to the Management Perform daily housekeeping and preventative maintenance duties Assist Heavy Equipment Mechanics and other departments when needed
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
