Position Overview As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of every customer. You'll work alongside a knowledgeable team in a well quipped shop, with opportunities for training and advancement. What You'll Do Examine vehicles and accurately diagnose mechanical issues Communicate repairs needs with the shop foreman and services advisor Complete thorough documentation and repair stories for each job Mentor technician trainees and attend factory and company training Stay current with technical bulletins and manufacturers updates Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and environmental standards What We're Looking For 2+ years of hand-on automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to maintain professionalism and efficiency in a fast-paced environment Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid Operator Driver's License Valid State Inspection License Ability to work assigned shifts, including Saturdays if required Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and performing physical shop work Must pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S. Build Your Career With MEI Group At MEI Group , We Believe Great teams are built bye investing in great people.
