Job Description
Overview Bartlett's Cycle & ATV is looking for a Powersports Mechanic to become a vital part of delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance for a wide range of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs & Side by Sides), and other recreational engines. Duties Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on powersports vehicles such as motorcycles, ATVs, and other recreational engines, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently Conduct engine system repairs including powertrain components, suspension systems, brake repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly techniques to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts accurately Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs and communicate findings clearly to customers or team members Assist with vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance services, and component replacements to enhance vehicle performance and longevity Support heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or heavy parts during repairs or assembly processes Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with powersports or automotive repair is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components Familiarity with automotive engine systems repair and diagnostic tools usage for efficient troubleshooting Experience in all-terrain vehicle repair and motorcycle maintenance including motorcycle operation understanding is advantageous Skilled in automotive diagnostics combined with electrical diagnostics expertise for comprehensive vehicle assessments Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly impact customer satisfaction through expert vehicle care. Pay depends on experience. Hourly position, not flag time. Pay could potentially be more than listing if experience is proven. Having own tools is a plus. Can discuss more upon interview. Must pass drug & background check. Paid time off 40 hours after 1 year of employment. Does not accrue if not used, but will be renewed yearly. Additional 40 hours added after 2nd year of employment. Spend time with your family, as the shop does close for a major holiday, depending on how it falls on the calendar. Also closed for Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend and from Christmas Eve through the New Year.
Pay:
$17.00- $22.00 per hour Application Question(s): Hours of operation: Tuesday
