Position:
Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain automobiles and light trucks in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
Inspect and test vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to service advisors and customers
Complete repairs including, but not limited to, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, heating, cooling, and electrical systems
Document all services and repairs performed, maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulations
Stay current with manufacturer technical updates, recalls, and service bulletins
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality customer service
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of automotive technical training preferred
