We are looking for someone to relocate to College Station, Texas to come work for one of the busiest, well known automotive mechanic shop in the area. The mechanic position will be a key service personnel for The Right Shop. This mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles ranging from cars to light duty diesel as well as fleet services. The successful candidate will be able to: Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with The Right Shop and NAPA standards Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning Diesel experience preferred but not required.

Qualification Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanics Must have your own tools At least one year of experience as a mechanic Able to interpret complex instructions and/or specification Knowledge and practice of shop safety procedures Detail-oriented while maintaining high productivity Open to learning new trades including large diesel and marine Working Conditions Shop environment requires kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects. May be required to work more than 40 hours
