Perform preventive maintenance — oil, filters, fluids, lubrication, and multi-point inspections Complete brake, suspension, tire, and basic electrical repairs Diagnose and repair light diesel and gas engine issues Perform on-site fleet maintenance and repairs at customer locations Conduct DOT inspections and identify needed repairs Troubleshoot basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Manage tools, parts, inventory, and work orders from the mobile service truck Communicate directly with fleet managers and drivers regarding repairs, findings, and ETAs Work in the Merx shop when not assigned to mobile service calls Travel as required to support fleet customers Apply Today Reach out at recruiting@merxtt.com, or call Uriel Holguin at 847-228-2632

Job Requirements:

2+ years of professional diesel, automotive, or fleet maintenance experience Experience performing PMs and light-to-medium mechanical repairs Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently in the field Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable traveling and working at different customer locations Diesel/medium-heavy truck certifications are preferred Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Wage Range:

26.00 - 31.00 per hour
