Work on transport refrigeration systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and auxiliary power units in our El Paso shop. Training and career advancement opportunities available. Pay & Perks $23

• 40/hr, DOE + overtime Full-time, long-term opportunity Apprentice through Master Technician career path Training and certification opportunities Family-owned and growing company Opportunities to develop specialized Thermo King skills What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service Thermo King transport refrigeration systems Perform routine preventative maintenance on transport temperature control equipment Install transport refrigeration and temperature control equipment according to Thermo King specifications Install, repair, and service Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues Follow Thermo King service procedures, technical standards, and service bulletins Maintain required service records, paperwork, and certifications Keep the shop and work areas clean and organized Follow all company and safety procedures Travel for training or customer service needs when required Continue developing technical skills through Thermo King training and certification programs What You Need Mechanical, diesel, transport refrigeration, or electrical experience preferred — all experience levels welcome Experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment, automotive/light-duty mechanics, or heavy wheel mechanics is a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer skills Valid driver's license required EPA 608 Type II and 609 certifications preferred Ability to obtain a DOT medical card if required Ability to meet company vehicle insurability requirements Ability to pass required pre-employment screening Able to work overtime and travel when needed Complete set of quality hand tools preferred Career Growth Technician level and pay are based on experience and qualifications, with a career path from: Apprentice → Certified → Professional → Master Technician Specialty certification opportunities, including Bus and Flat-Rate Technician , may also be available.
