Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and industrial equipment maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The Mechanic will work with hand tools, heavy equipment, and electrical systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and industrial equipment. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand system operations. Conduct inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Align wheels, brakes, and other components as necessary for optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with service technicians to address complex mechanical problems. Assist in HVAC system repairs and electrical troubleshooting as needed. Operate heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and air brake systems is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Certification as a Service Technician or equivalent experience is a plus. Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and technologies related to mechanics.
