We are specifically searching for someone who can confidently handle drivability and electrical repairs without supervision. While we would love to train someone who is eager to learn, our current workload requires us to bring on a technician who can step in and contribute immediately. Our ideal candidate would have a level of knowledge and experience comparable to our owner, Jeff, who has over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry. Our most important requirement is knowledge of most or all Domestic, Foreign, and European platforms. Experience Knowledge of Domestic, Foreign, and European vehicles. Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems is a plus. Hands-on experience with transmissions repair—including automatic and manual transmissions—and powertrain components. Skilled in the use of diagnostic software tools for auto estimating and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience working on suspension systems, wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and oil change procedures. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices.
