In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing issues accurately, executing repairs efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to keep vehicles running smoothly. Responsibilities Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify problems accurately. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension checks to prolong vehicle lifespan. Repair and replace vehicle components including brakes, transmissions, shocks & struts, electrical systems, powertrain parts, and diesel engines. Conduct specialized repairs involving ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and welding tasks as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle parts according to manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies while providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment alongside schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to perform wheel alignments, suspension work, tire service including mounting/demounting, shocks & struts replacement.
