Job Description
Do you have hands-on skills in the trades and a knack for problem-solving? RV EMT, Fredericksburg's trusted mobile RV repair service and parts store, is growing—and we're looking for a reliable, skilled technician to join our team. About the Role As an RV Technician, you'll work directly with our customers to diagnose and repair a variety of RV systems. Every day is different—one day you may be troubleshooting electrical wiring or plumbing, the next repairing a generator, fixing an awning, or completing maintenance to keep our customers safe on the road. Our technicians are the heart of what we do, combining craftsmanship, technical skill, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair RV systems, including: Electrical (12v/120v) Plumbing and water systems HVAC, appliances, and generators Black and gray tank systems Structural repairs (floors, walls, roofs, slide-outs) Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections Accurately document services and parts used Provide friendly, professional customer service on-site at homes, RV parks, and campgrounds Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition Qualifications Background in one or more skilled trades: electrical, plumbing, construction, HVAC, or mechanical repair Prior RV repair experience a plus (training available for the right candidate) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license and clean driving record Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-service oriented What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for training and certification in RV systems Work that's hands-on, varied, and rewarding Join a team that keeps RVers rolling and supports the vibrant Fredericksburg community.
