In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal operation. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure peak performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently to complete repairs. Work with heavy equipment mechanics and diesel mechanics on specialized repairs such as diesel engine repair and air brake systems. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle alignment procedures, and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable. Certification or experience in GM vehicles or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. Pay:
$20.00 - $34.67 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
