In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, steering components, and powertrain assemblies.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs involving welding, auto body work, or component replacements.
Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic safety features to ensure proper calibration and functionality.
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to repairs precisely according to manufacturer specifications.
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring timely completion of all work orders. Experience Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable.
Knowledge of diesel engine repair alongside gasoline engine systems to handle diverse vehicle types.
Familiarity with automotive electrical systems including wiring harnesses, sensors, and electronic control modules.
Skilled in using automotive estimating software for accurate diagnosis and repair planning.
Experience performing brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work (shocks & struts), tire service, and auto body repairs is preferred.
Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as welding tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety standards.
