Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair and replace faulty components in electrical systems, motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Conduct welding tasks including stick welding to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to diagnose issues and implement solutions effectively. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and other automation components. Maintain compliance with safety protocols related to electrical diagnostics, equipment repair, and industrial maintenance procedures. Assist in training team members on equipment operation and maintenance best practices. Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment specifications or repairs when required. Qualifications Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments as a mechanic or maintenance technician. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial electrical systems. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters; reading schematics; and performing electrical maintenance. Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding for fabrication or repair tasks. Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and inventory tracking. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering diagrams accurately. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, and automation troubleshooting is highly desirable. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to address operational issues efficiently. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Certifications or experience related to HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts operation, or industrial electrician credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
