Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Tire and Lube Technician, where your expertise will keep vehicles running smoothly and customers satisfied. In this energetic role, you will perform essential tire services, oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs with precision and care. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will contribute to maintaining vehicle safety, performance, and reliability. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your automotive skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while ensuring every vehicle leaves our shop in top condition. Responsibilities Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements following manufacturer specifications Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify and address minor mechanical issues Support wheel alignments and perform minor mechanical repairs to maintain vehicle performance standards Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean work environment Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally Qualifications One year prior automotive service background preferred but not required Mechanical experience with standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive diagnostics Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment Ability to lift heavy objects safely during tire installation or maintenance tasks Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and learning opportunities
