Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all vehicles serviced. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and alignments. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately. Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as required for modern vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair status. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and quality. Experience Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required. Dealership experience is preferred, particularly with GM vehicles. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance practices is essential. Experience in diesel engine repair and welding is a plus. Proficiency in auto estimating and understanding of automotive electrical systems will be beneficial. Strong customer service skills are necessary for effective communication with clients regarding their vehicle repairs.
