Job description

• Main duties will involve diagnosing as well as removing/replacing parts for cars and trucks.
• Our ideal technician will be reliable and have a high standard of workmanship.
• This technician should be confident with the use diagnostic equipment to quickly and accurately diagnose a wide variety of issues with any vehicle.
• Technician performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with Auto Care Central and factory standards.
• Comfortable completing entire jobs from diagnosing to repair in the areas of suspension, cooling system, brakes, electrical, fueling, steering, HVAC, and fluid changes.
• Able to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to service adviser and other techs
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology. Requirements
• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive company and customer vehicles.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Maintain an organized, clean and neat work area.
• Perform DVI inspections, track time for each repair, and able to communicate needed repairs using company issued tablets.
• Must have own tools [certain specialty tools are provided by the shop]
• ASE certified preferred.
• Able to maintain a positive and supportive working environment. Must Speak English Benefits
