Full Job Description Cary's Car Wash & Lube Center is hiring a Lube Tech / State Inspector for our
Lube Center General:
We are a great family owned company with one location in Haltom City, Texas. Core activities are oil change, state inspections, brake repairs, and other light maintenance. We are looking for knowledgeable and confident go-getters that know how to work. Potential to be a part of a growing business Work with the most up to date lube center and diagnostics equipment The lube technician conducts themselves in an ethical manner in every aspect of their job. This individual clearly demonstrates the ability to set and achieve performance goals for the shop as a whole and individually. In addition, the ability to sell recommended services; manage and motivate company personnel; work well under pressure, and resolve customer complaints as well as employee issues in a professional manner. Hands on leadership of your team is what we are looking for. This leadership needs to be accompanied by the ability to manage and control technical productivity, while being productive yourself. Most services take between 10-20 minutes to complete while the customer waits. Efficiency is very important. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week on a regular basis. Able to communicate with customers about their vehicle needs. Must be able to perform lube services-oil changes, flushes, pit tech, hood tech, etc Must be a willing to train other employees and new hires MUST be able to use POS software system Tekmetric (or similar) and state inspection unit. Inspector Badge Assist with store employee's productivity and performance Maintain orderly, presentable appearance of the store Oversee stock and store operations Customer centric with a positive attitude This is a boots on the ground position having multiple hats from cradle to grave service.
