Production-Based Pay Veteran's Final Touch Solutions is hiring an experienced Automotive Paint & Body Technician for a production-based position. We are looking for a technician who can produce quality work efficiently, work with limited supervision, and take responsibility for the final repair. This is not a basic hourly position. Compensation is tied to completed production, quality, and the technician's ability to move vehicles through the repair process correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Collision and body repair Dent and panel repair Bumper, fender, door, hood, and quarter panel repair Removal and installation of body components Surface preparation Sanding, grinding, filling, priming, and masking Paint preparation and refinishing Basecoat and clearcoat application Color matching and blending Buffing and polishing Final quality inspections Identifying hidden or additional damage Communicating supplement or repair needs to management Maintaining a clean and organized work area Meeting agreed production timelines Production-Based Compensation This position is paid based on completed production rather than simply hours worked . Production pay may be structured based on: Completed labor hours Approved repair labor Individual jobs completed Percentage of labor revenue Technician production and efficiency Quality of completed work The final compensation structure will be based on the technician's experience, skill level, production ability, and responsibilities. High-producing technicians have the opportunity to earn more by completing more quality work. Poor-quality repairs, incomplete work, or repairs requiring unnecessary rework will not be considered completed production. Quality Comes Before Speed Production is important, but quality is mandatory. Completed vehicles must meet Veteran's Final Touch standards before being released.

Work may be rejected for:

Poor color match Paint runs or excessive defects Overspray Visible sanding marks Poor bodywork Improper panel alignment Unfinished repairs Excessive orange peel Poor blending Repairs requiring avoidable rework Technicians are expected to correct workmanship issues related to their repairs before the job is considered complete.

Qualifications Preferred candidates should have:

Automotive paint and body experience Collision repair experience Automotive refinishing experience Experience with paint preparation Experience with color matching and blending Knowledge of body filler and panel repair techniques Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple repair jobs Valid driver's license Dependable transportation I-CAR, ASE, manufacturer, paint-system, or collision repair certifications are a plus but are not required for an experienced technician.
