We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic. • Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and Repair:
• Accurately diagnose issues with vehicles and perform necessary repairs and maintenance. This includes engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
• Preventative Maintenance:
• Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections, to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and safely.
• Technical Expertise:
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Use computerized diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle conditions.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle conditions, necessary repairs, and maintenance plans. Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards while performing all job duties. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task. Complete all necessary paperwork and reports as required.
• need to be able to do alignments as well as work on vehicle that have been in accidents to find wiring or any mechanical problems
• Qualifications:
• Proven 2 years or more work experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Hs/ged required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and mechanisms.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
