Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction to new heights! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel powertrains, or advanced automotive electrical systems, your mechanical skills will keep our customers on the road with confidence. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks. Repair or replace auto body parts and perform welding as needed to restore vehicle integrity. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components following manufacturer specifications. Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and ensure proper functioning of safety features. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems. Knowledge of ADAS technology, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto body repair is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge across powertrain components including transmissions and engine systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly and professionally.
