This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to solve complex automotive challenges. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, suspension systems, and other key vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately identify issues and implement effective repairs. Repair or replace vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, powertrain components, and suspension systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and vehicle system inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, or replace parts while adhering to safety standards. Diagnose and resolve issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems with precision. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and progress. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience repairing powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle suspension systems. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and software for accurate fault detection. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Knowledge of Kia vehicles or similar brands is a plus; ongoing training in new automotive technologies is preferred.
