Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Heavy Equipment Lube Technician / Light-Duty Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, lubrication services, inspections, and basic mechanical repairs on company-owned heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is a forward thinker who can identify potential problems before they lead to costly breakdowns. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors, getting dirty, and withstanding the demanding Texas heat and weather conditions. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in heavy equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled lubrication and preventative maintenance on company-owned heavy equipment, trucks, and vehicles.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, damage, and developing mechanical issues.
• Check and service engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, fuel systems, and other fluid levels.
• Grease equipment and replace filters, fluids, and other routine maintenance components.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs and assist mechanics with more advanced repairs.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the maintenance team and office personnel.
• Think ahead and proactively communicate parts, repairs, and service needs before equipment failures occur.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Keep service trucks, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer maintenance guidelines. Qualifications & Expectations
• Previous experience with heavy equipment, trucks, agriculture equipment, or diesel maintenance is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to use hand tools, grease guns, air tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and able to withstand the Texas heat and changing weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record preferred.
