Job Overview We are seeking a skilled RV/Camper Technician to join our service team around Tyler Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical systems, and electrical diagnostics, with experience working on RVs, campers, or similar vehicles. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of RV and camper systems to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a wide range of tools and technical skills to deliver high-quality service. ( based out of Longview must be willing to travel around an hour radius which is paid ) Duties Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on RVs and campers, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, transmissions, suspension, and brake systems. Conduct repairs such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and engine repairs (including diesel engines). Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, equipment repair, and maintenance tasks. Repair or replace automotive electrical systems using soldering and other electrical techniques. Handle heavy lifting and perform maintenance tasks involving heavy equipment or parts. Conduct vehicle body repairs as needed and assist with welding or fabrication projects. Diagnose issues related to transmissions, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other mechanical components. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Experience Dealership experience or service technician background is highly preferred. Proven automotive diagnostics skills combined with mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems. Experience working with automotive electrical systems, including soldering and wiring repairs. Familiarity with auto body repair, welding, plumbing, and equipment repair is advantageous. Hands-on experience with heavy lifting and the use of various hand tools and power tools required for vehicle maintenance. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, oil changes, tire service, alignment procedures, suspension work, HVAC servicing, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement is desirable. Strong customer service skills to assist clients effectively during repairs or maintenance visits.
