Semi-Trailer Technician - Mesquite, TX Dallas Trailer Repair Co. - 3.6 Mesquite, TX Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a skilled Semi-Trailer Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of semi-trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience with trailer systems, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspections, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on dry vans, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and other trailer types. Repair brakes, suspension systems, wheel ends, lighting, electrical systems, doors, roofs, and trailer structures. Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections. Troubleshoot and repair air systems and trailer-related mechanical issues. Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Previous trailer repair or heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred. Knowledge of trailer brake, suspension, air, electrical, and structural systems. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Own tools and toolbox preferred. Valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
