Job Description

Overview Black Fox Services, LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our internal fleet and customer equipment. This position plays an important role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of our trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional shop environment. Work Environment This position involves working both in a shop environment and performing mobile mechanic services in the field . The mechanic may travel to job sites or customer locations to diagnose and repair equipment as needed. The role may require lifting heavy components, working around heavy equipment, and standing for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Qualifications
  • Experience working as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic preferred
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair tasks
  • Ability to maintain accurate repair documentation
  • Must supply and maintain a personal set of standard mechanic hand tools
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on company fleet vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist with repairs for customer equipment as assigned.
  • Complete repair orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple repair tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality workmanship and efficiency.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors, office staff, and project coordinators.
  • Notify management of repair delays, parts shortages, or issues that may impact timelines.
  • Coordinate with office staff on vehicle drop-offs, inspections, and return scheduling.
  • Participate in team meetings and shop briefings as required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
