Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and related systems, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to enhance ride quality and safety standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems such as automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for repairs, replacements, and adjustments on diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements with precision. Collaborate with customers by providing clear explanations of repairs needed and maintaining excellent customer service throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles. Deep understanding of schematics, automotive wiring diagrams, and vehicle systems diagnostics. Expertise in ADAS calibration, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and overall automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment. Strong familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including alignment and suspension system repairs. Ability to interpret complex technical manuals and schematics accurately for efficient troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills paired with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning in automotive technology advancements.
