Automotive Service Advisor/Writer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as liaison between the service manager, parts personnel, technicians and auto insurance/auto warranty companies Work with technicians to determine necessary repairs and possible alternatives to cut costs for the customer Determine the cost of parts and labor time required Prepare repair estimates for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in planning for ongoing required maintenance of their vehicle Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work Contact customers to keep them in the loop throughout the repair process and communicate when the vehicle is ready for pickup Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

SKILLS REQUIRED

2-3 years experience in the automotive industry. This position requires knowledge/skill in many different departments - especially Parts, Sales and Customer Service. Auto Mechanic experience a plus. Ability to organize and prioritize Ability to problem solve and work on your own Ability to work well with others in a team environment Most importantly, the ability to provide the excellent service our customers expect (see our review on Google)

COMPENSATION

Salary plus commission based on experience.

Work schedule:

7:30am to 5pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour scheduled lunch breaks. Saturdays are half days from 7:30am to 12noon. After probationary period, you will have alternating weekends off. Closed every Sunday. Closed on holidays.
