About the Role We're looking for a Service Writer / Service Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves people, and knows how to keep a shop organized and profitable. You'll be the heartbeat between customers and technicians — building trust, communicating clearly, and ensuring every repair is done right. What You'll Do Greet customers with energy and professionalism — every call and visit counts. Write up repair orders, explain findings, and recommend services with transparency. Coordinate and dispatch technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient workflow. Track repairs from start to finish — no dropped balls. Obtains quotes, sources and manage parts and inventory for accuracy and availability. Prepare and present estimates, get approvals, and manage customer communication. Follow up with customers after service for feedback and reviews. Monitor gross profit margins, daily sales goals, and key shop metrics. Help build long-term relationships with both retail and fleet customers. QC work orders for compliance with processes. Follows standard operating procedures set forth by management for both automotive and fleet customers. Work on-call as needed. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For 2+ years experience as a Service Writer, Advisor, or Shop Manager (automotive or truck repair). Excellent communication and sales skills — clear, confident, and honest. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Positive, coachable, and driven personality. Working knowledge of shop software (Tekmetric or Fullbay experience a plus). A passion for great customer service — not just "selling repairs." Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
