Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure safety and efficiency. Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during repair or testing procedures. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet repair specifications. Utilize automotive electrical system repair skills to troubleshoot wiring issues, sensors, alternators, starters, and other electrical components. Read and interpret schematics for heavy equipment operation or industrial machinery to facilitate precise repairs or modifications. Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed and parts used to ensure compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and vehicle mechanics for trucks and passenger vehicles. Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of working with power tools safely. Proficient in reading schematics for electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, suspension systems, and HVAC units. Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, heavy truck repair including air brakes and powertrain components. Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks like tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to perform complex repairs involving hydraulics systems or industrial equipment with precision. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
