Group 1 Nissan Round Rock is looking for motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technicians to join our Express Lube team. We are looking for candidates who already have some hands-on automotive experience and want to take the next step toward becoming a professional automotive technician. Experience can come from a quick-lube shop, tire shop, dealership, independent repair facility, automotive technical school, or other hands-on automotive environment. Currently attending or recently graduating from an automotive technical school is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job changing oil. Our goal is to develop and promote technicians from our Express team into full-line automotive technician positions. What You'll Do Perform oil and filter changes Perform tire rotations and basic tire services Complete multi-point vehicle inspections Inspect brakes, tires, batteries, fluids, filters, and other maintenance items Perform basic maintenance and repairs based on experience and training Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow dealership safety and quality-control procedures Continue learning new automotive repair skills and techniques Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced, high-volume service department What We're Looking For Some hands-on automotive experience required Currently attending or recently graduated from an automotive technical school is a plus Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair Comfortable using basic automotive tools and equipment Weekend availability required Flexible availability Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Coachable and willing to learn Desire to grow into a professional automotive technician Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Why Join Group 1 Nissan Round Rock?
