Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and powertrain components. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical wiring. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot complex electrical problems. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal performance. Repair advanced systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle transmission systems, and diesel engines with precision and care. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair findings clearly and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and vehicle systems. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension system repair, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is highly desirable.
