Experienced Automotive Service Technician-Kia of San Angelo

Kia of San Angelo is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Experienced Service Technician to join our service team. This role is designed for technicians who are passionate about delivering not only high-quality automotive repairs but also an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with excellent communication and a commitment to building long-term relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles according to manufacturer standards Conduct multi-point inspections and clearly document findings Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair needs Assist in explaining technical issues to customers when needed in a clear and professional manner Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Stay current with Kia training, certifications, and emerging automotive technologies Deliver an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating professionalism, transparency, and care

Qualifications:

Previous automotive technician experience preferred (Kia experience is a plus) ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
