Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Perform repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and vehicle inspections. Repair diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics components with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems accurately. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop settings. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and air brake systems. Skilled in diagnosing issues with automotive diagnostics software and mechanical systems repair techniques. Hands-on experience with transmission repair, powertrain maintenance, suspension system repair including shocks & struts, wheel alignment, brake repair, and oil change procedures. Familiarity with diesel engine repair and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus.
