Join a family-oriented company that values personal and professional growth. Ed Morse is currently seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electric vehicle systems, including batteries, drivetrains, and charging components. Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and system updates on EV and hybrid vehicles. Use advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer software to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Document all repairs, parts used, and work performed in the dealership management system (DMS). Stay up to date with EV technology, safety protocols, and certification requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Provide excellent service by communicating findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or trade school certification preferred. ASE certifications and/or manufacturer EV certifications highly desirable. Previous experience as an automotive or EV technician required (2+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of high-voltage safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality work. Why Ed Morse?
