Black Optix Tint - Spring is looking for a hands-on technician with experience installing automotive electronics and accessories. If you take pride in clean wiring, careful workmanship, and making sure everything works correctly before a vehicle leaves the shop, we'd like to meet you. Your primary focus will be 12-volt electronics and accessory installation. You should also be willing to learn automotive window tinting and support additional services as our shop grows. Prior tinting experience is helpful but is not required. About Us We're building a growing automotive restyling and window-film business serving Spring and Greater Houston. Our services include automotive and architectural tint, detailing, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, wraps, car audio, and accessories. We want people who are willing to share their skills, expand their abilities, and contribute to the success of the whole shop. What You'll Do Install car audio equipment, including stereos, speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers. Install dash cameras, backup cameras, lighting, and other automotive electronics and accessories. Install alarms, remote starts, and vehicle integration components within your training and experience. Diagnose wiring and installation issues using appropriate testing equipment and vehicle information. Complete secure wiring connections, proper circuit protection, and clean cable routing. Carefully remove and reinstall interior panels while protecting customer vehicles. Test installed equipment and affected vehicle functions, inspect finished work, and explain operation to customers. Learn automotive window tinting, including preparation, installation techniques, and quality checks. Assist with other shop services as trained and qualified. Communicate job progress, parts needs, and problems with the manager and coworkers. Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience with 12-volt electronics, car audio, or automotive accessory installation. Understanding of automotive electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, grounding, fusing, and multimeter use. Attention to detail and the judgment to ask for guidance before attempting unfamiliar work. Reliability, organization, and a willingness to accept feedback. Professional communication with customers and coworkers. Willingness to cross-train in tinting and other services—and teach teammates skills you already know. Ability to perform hands-on installation work, with reasonable accommodation as needed. Experience with tint, PPF, wraps, detailing, ceramic coatings, suspension, or tire installation is a plus. You do not need experience in every service. Schedule & Growth This is an on-site position with Saturday availability required.
