Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing your mechanical skills to ensure optimal performance and safety. As a key member of our service department, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service. Your passion for automotive repair and commitment to quality will help us keep our customers moving confidently on the road. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace complex components like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and diesel engines with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical systems repair issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on automotive service excellence. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and heavy equipment mechanics. Expertise in automotive diagnostics and the ability to read schematics for complex repairs. Skilled in repairing diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brake systems, shocks & struts, and wheel alignment procedures. Familiarity with ADAS technology, air brake systems, oil change procedures, tire service including mounting/dismounting and balancing. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems repair. Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills to ensure clear explanations of repairs and build trust with clients.
