Express Service Technician / Lube Technician Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Temple, Texas Mac Haik CDJR of Temple is hiring an Express Service Technician who wants more than just another quick-lube job. This position offers the opportunity to build a long-term automotive career with one of Texas's largest dealership groups. Promising Express Technicians may be selected for the Mac Haik Technician Development Program . Candidates chosen for the program receive paid, hands-on training for approximately one year while working directly alongside a Master Technician. The goal is to develop the technical knowledge, diagnostic ability, and repair skills necessary to advance into a main-line technician position. Selection for the program is based on performance, attendance, attitude, work quality, and demonstrated commitment to the automotive trade. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid services, battery replacements, tire repairs, and other light maintenance Complete accurate and thorough multi-point vehicle inspections Create clear, professional video inspections for customers Identify maintenance needs and safety concerns Verify that all work is completed correctly before returning the vehicle Document all work accurately on the repair order Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and shop safety procedures Work efficiently with technicians, service advisors, parts personnel, and support staff Qualifications Previous automotive, dealership, or quick-lube experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate Strong interest in developing a long-term automotive career Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and follow established processes Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift Basic automotive tools are preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent work in a busy dealership Hands-on training and professional development Opportunity to be selected for the paid Mac Haik Technician Development Program Direct mentorship from experienced Master Technicians A defined path toward becoming a main-line technician Professional and supportive shop environment Employee benefits and dealership discounts Closed Sundays Schedule Full-time position Monday through Saturday availability required Rotating weekday off Closed Sundays If you are dependable, coachable, and serious about building a career as an automotive technician, apply today.
