Job Description
Trailer Mechanic Schedule
- Monday
- Friday Once a month Saturday 8am
- 5pm Pay
- $18-28/hr Depending upon experience (Level I, II or III) Job Duties
- Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair.
- Operate a forklift.
- Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment
- Ability to use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete trailer repairs.
- Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed daily. Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
- Ability to work in the environment, hot, cold, dusty
- Lock Out Tag Out, etc
- Follow all SOPs
- Ability to wear all needed PPE throughout work shift
- Must have his/her own tools Ability to lift 50 lbs, Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift , Ability to work in the environment, hot, cold, dusty.
