Job Description
Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM | Weekends Off | Tomball, TX Cornerstone Car Care of Tomball is adding an experienced Automotive Service Technician to our team. This position is for a technician who can come in, get to work, diagnose vehicles, complete repairs independently, and keep work moving without needing constant direction. If you're productive, experienced, have your own tools, and want to be home by 5 PM with every weekend off, we want to hear from you.
COMPENSATION & HOURS
$25
•40 per flag hour Rate based on experience and skill level Full-time Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM Every weekend off No evenings or late nights
THE WORK
You'll work on passenger vehicles and light-duty gas and diesel trucks performing: General automotive repair Vehicle diagnostics Electrical diagnostics Check engine light and drivability diagnosis Brake repair Steering and suspension A/C and heating repair Engine repair Preventative maintenance Digital vehicle inspections Light-duty truck and diesel repair based on experience
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You must: Have professional automotive repair experience Have your own tools Be able to diagnose and complete repairs independently Have a valid driver's license Be dependable and show up ready to work Take initiative without waiting to be told what to do next Take pride in quality repairs Keep your bay and work area organized ASE certifications and light-duty diesel experience are a plus, but not required.

We're a locally owned independent automotive repair shop in Tomball with an established reputation and growing car count. We're looking for another strong technician to grow with the shop. We value people who work hard while they're here, but we also believe you should have a life outside of work. The shop closes at 5 PM. Saturdays and Sundays are yours.
