Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, and experience working with various vehicle makes and models, including GMC, Ford Chrysler vehicles. Your expertise will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional automotive service and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engines, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Repair and replace vehicle suspension systems, alignments, and steering components to maintain vehicle handling and safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs, maintenance tasks, and system replacements. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems within vehicles. Service vehicle electrical systems, including automotive wiring diagrams interpretation and component replacement. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to prolong vehicle lifespan. Collaborate with customers to explain repairs needed, provide estimates, and ensure high levels of customer service. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using automotive diagnostics software for accurate service history documentation. Qualifications Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools. Familiarity with schematics, automotive wiring diagrams interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience repairing powertrain components such as transmissions and engines (including diesel engines). Knowledge of vehicle suspension system repair and alignment procedures. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Service technician experience working on New Car vehicles or similar brands is preferred. Valid technical certifications or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is advantageous. Pay:

$30.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
